Nova Joined the family a few years ago. She can be a bit shy and takes some time to get to know our clients. She is loyal and trustworthy.

Our History

Cavenet began as a dial-up Internet Service Provider and full Web Hosting company.

We were the first truly locally owned ISP in the area.

The birth of our high speed service, Our wireless towers were built and the FIRST high speed service was sold in the Illinois Valley. 512 down and 256 up.

We expanded our network and began the transition from 2.4GHz to 900MHz equipment in order to penetrate more foliage and expand the coverage area to our clients.

We again expanded our network, going to Motorola's 3G WiMax licenced equipment.

We began our association with SAF, deploying licensed microwave links between our towers.

This year is our 20th Anniversary serving the Illinois Valley.

Fiber service is made available to our downtown clients.

We have added an upgraded link to our Takilma tower.

This tower is now seperated from our $8 tower site. This provides smoother data flow for both tower sites.

Located 30 miles southwest of Grants Pass on Hwy 199, Cave Junction is a colorful small town that is quickly growing. It offers access to the Oregon Caves, which are located 20 miles east of town off Hwy 46. The Illinois River borders Cave Junction on the west.

It will feature live feed of Downtown Cave Junction positioned on our local tower at the north end of town, looking south.
Recorded footage will be available to Local citizen watch and Law enforcement groups upon request.
